Hi all, I'm a new master smuggler on corbantis and I was thinking of opening a little spice/slice shop. Could someone tell me how I can get a vendor? Can I buy one or do I need specific skills to build my own? Do any of you rent out vendors to non-merchant characters? Any advice you can give will be appreciated, Yendormi

You have to own the vendor yourself ... cant really rent one.
To get a vendor, you need at least Business III from the Artisan line. This gets you the big machine vendor that charges an arm and leg in daily maintenance. Bus IV gets you the robot vendor that also charges a lot.
At Merchant you get the NPC vendors and they do not charge the maintance fee (bug) and the manager line lets you have more than one vendor at a time.
If this is all too much of a hassle ... contact a merchant ... they can buy from you and resell (assuming your price is right

If the business arrangement is right they might even consent to running a vendor in your establishment. As a merchant I would urge you to consider these options as dealing with the vendors yourself is time consuming, expensive, and wastes skill points. (Not to mention that it drains xp and credits from the merchants who are trying to make their way in the galaxy)
