What do you expect and hope for when Player Cities are implemented?

I expect us to be more profitable just because we will have a better location nearer a shuttleport and in a safer area than the slums we have now full of spawn and harvesters.

I expect a large part of those profits to be taxed away by the city government to pay for the shuttles and also for really stupid improvements the idiots we elect like. (Somehow getting elected makes the bright turn dumb.)

I hope that some of the new skills associated with city management go into the Merchant tree, Master Merchant seems like a good pre-requsite for Politician if Merchants will be paying most of the taxes.

I hope that the lots for the city improvements don't come out of the player's limited lot pool.

Skilled merchants should have the ability to open a shop in the player city additions, hiring suppliers (crafters), making city-wide advertisements, and other bonuses to make a shop in a player city stand out from a home with a vendor in it.

For the love of sanity: display windows for shops!
