Hey guys,

I ALWAYS sticky the correspondant lists to the top of the board, Look to see what one is the lastest one, and add comments to that one. The other ones are old news.

Adding comments to week 4 and 5, or 3 when we are working on week 7 will not get read, I do not have time to read every list from a month a go, once I send off my list to the devs, I consider the list closes (They just do not give me access to lock a thread)

I will also unsticky the old lists sooner, So in short, look for the lastest week and go there.

um. question. Why are we doing this? It's obvious that Devs are five weeks behind on corruspondent issues. They barely managed to give us anything about week 1. In a post a few days ago, Holo said something like, "It's safe to say that we won't be able to do weekly correspondant issues".

If the Devs are still working on Week 1, and maybe some week 2 (unlikely), then what are we doing worrying about week 4, 5, and 7?

There are 33 correspondants, I do not expect, nor have I ever expected a a weekly responce toour issues, to expect one is unrealistic, to setup 33 meetings with the real developers, take notes and them post back to the board would take 3 people all week to do, and by the time it gets here, chances are (with the daily patches) it would be moot.

Furthermore, They are at week one for responding to them, but I think that I have seen changes that were talked about in week 2, 3 , 5 and so on. What upsets meis that you are looking for a responce on the boards, and I am looking for a responce in game. I have seen responces. Yes, most of the fixes were bug fixes, but then most of our lists were about bugs.

They may not be posting a message so you can read it, but some, somewhere is, because I am some seeing changes that are positive for the merchant class, that is why we are doing this.

The other thing to keep in mind is that regardless of the promptness of their replies ( and they admit they haven't been prompt) we still have a forum to voice our concerns and desires about this profesion and I think that giving up that opportunity because we aren't getting some things as fast as we would like would be a mistake. Marqie should continue doing the fine job of getting all of our ramblings and rantings together in a nice numbered list and submit it each week. Otherwise we risk giving the impression we are happy with the current state of affairs.

Why does this upset you? I am only talking about what they said they would do, and have not done. (That being responding on the board to the correspondents) to relay the information to us.

And i am seeing more issues not discussed or fixed then issues that are. Yes, I'm glad they are fixing things, but they aren't letting us know that they are aware of the other issues you've typed up. Sure some of them get fixed. My point is that they aren't acknowledging the issues that don't get fixed. How do you know that the fixes that are being implemented are fixes that you pointed out, and not ones they caught inhouse themselves?

Really, as long as they are getting fixed..I'm happy. My point was, why are we still doing different issue reports weekly, when there are still issues needing addressed from week 1 and week 2?

By the way, I'm not saying we should do away with them. I'm just saying that I would prefer a master list that had the top 20 or so issues Ranked (by Margie is fine). Not 7 different threads (1 per week). If she stickied it, we could easily find the list of top 20, and then the next week, she can note and cross out the ones that were fixed during the week, and complile the new top 20 list, so Merchants who don't live and die in this board, can come back and check the progress on a weekly notice. It would cut down on many of the repetitive questions (probably some that I have asked), and it would kill the need of having to search for all the older threads. Margie wouldn't even have to go back through them. She would just monitor the master 20 list (which we would reply to) and at the beginning of next week, she would create the new master 20 list with additions and subtractions.

You are in fact mixing my duties with those of a developers.

The corrospondant system was not for us to list "Issues" it was to list ways to make the class better, but because there are so many "issues" they have dominated our lists. We are now starting to see more improvments and less "Issues". It is to be looked at as a "wish list" as of late, most of our wishes are for bug fixes.

A top 20 issues list is fine by me, I want there to be no real issues, and more wishes.

Sorry, didn't know I was mixing wishlist and issues up. For me, my wishlist are issues. It's really just scemantics. Whether we call it wishlist or issue list makes little difference. I think my idea (probably someonelse's idea I saw) for a top 20 wishlist/issue list stickied at the top of the forum would be valuable. Then when you submit your list, you choose the top 5 from that list. As you said, issues would and are dominating the list, so they would be submitted first. But aren't issues (glitches, lost inventory, eploits, etc) more important than implementing a new feature? Maybe not all the time, but i'd prefer the issues at least get fixed before working on better content. Like I said, many of the wishes/issues can be defined as either wish or issue.

I think you're doing a fine job, a very thourough job compared to other classes. I just wouldn't mind seeing a master list that I can check weekly to find progress too.
