Not sure why I should care aboutsince reaching Master Merchant since It's not going to give me any uber powers or anything but I guess I am just **edit** enough to want to go ahead and reach master merchant

But as has been posted other times by others, I get into these phases where my merchant XP stops entirely.

I need 40k XP to get Manager IV so have been watching my xp meter and it is stuck at 36950 ... been there for days. I have 5 active vendors and tons of shop traffic 24/7. Probably sold 500k worth of clothing in the past few days. So in theory, I should have tons of XP for viewers and active vendors.

At some random point I know that it will start working again and I will get a day or two of progress before it breaks again ... but does anyone have any suggestions on how to get this fixed. (sent in a CSR ticket but I'm sure we all know how much that will likely help).

I turned of my 1 credit entry fee for my customers. Choose not to play for a few days and now I have my xp maxed. Boy do I need to train. :-) It seems to work fine for me.

Give it time, I was halfway to Management II and days seemed to go by while it creeped along. I stayed off 1 day and now I have 27k xp. No clue but it sometimes comes in spurts. Give it time or stay AFK for a day or two (if you can )

Here's one ... Stop putting up an entrance fee without having ANYTHING in your vendors. This happened three times to me yesterday... I mean. who empties out their vendor but leaves the 1cr fee?

Note: I made sure I always had a stocked vendor. I do know some that have entrance fee on their houses, because of their decorations, but that is another issue.

Do you get XP for the 1c fee? When someone comes into your shop?

Yes.I believe it is 50 per individual visit per 15 minutes.

Well ... did a mini survey of my customers tonight about the charging the 1 credit fee to enter ... and they all said they wouldnt mind it since they knew me already but ... about a third of them said they would have been reluctant to enter with such a silly fee for fear I was try to pull some fast one or exploit if they had not known me already.

That's what I normally have happen too ... been struggling with this since day one ... one day XP next day none ... just been bothering more as I get closer to master I guess and this "no XP" stretch seems longer than normal.

I've been hesitant to do the entry fee way of forcing XP (even if 1 credit) for fear of how it would be perceived. Anyone else do that? Any serious negative feedback from you customers?

Hmmm .... well ... if I am still stuck in "no XP" mode tonight, I might just do it. And heck, I set up a vendor to ad bark about why I am doing it

Speaking of which ... does the entry fee thing need to be reset each morning like everything else we do?
