Might be too soon to tell, but I was wondering if anyone has seen a drop off in sales form their vendors? Or are merchants cashing in on the new bazaar caps too?

Personally I like the new caps. It gives me a good outlet to sell off obsolete weapons while still getting a decent price for them. Stuff that would never sell on my vendors sells very well on the bazaar (note: these are junk weapons, they just aren't up to par with my cutting edge stuff).

On the down side, some people have taken the new caps as an invitation to jack up their prices while offering no additional value (i.e. locked containers, which used to sell for 1-3K that now seem to sell for 4-6K). I guess the market will ultimately determine if any price increases are warranted, though.

I am trying that out (on a miner alt), but will keep smaller packages on as well for now. It seemed that a buyer either buys one package or all of that resource available, rarely only a couple. I don't want all the packages priced beyond the means of the smaller buyer.

I am trying to figure out the markdown suitable for 6000cr packages. The number of bazaar slots seems more of an issue than the fee. Putting 3000cr packages on could cost me 3000cr eachin sales ifa buy-em-all customer shows up, but not doing so costs me the same amount ifa single package guy walks away.

Once I think I understand the statistics, I can do the math for an optimal distribution. Of course, the market will change soon after, leaving me to guess again. I am hoping to find that with fewer than half the units in 3000cr packages, the single package buyer buys the 6000cr pack and increases my sales.

I honestly don't see how the increase can hurt business. If anything I've been busier this week in sales. Unless they have no cap on the bazaar and there becomes no need for the Merchant(I don't see it), we should be fine. And even if that did happen, I'm still keeping my store and my vendors. I like dealing with people on a more personal level anyway.

Yes its hurt the bottom end of my business since people can now get alot of the items that I stocked between 3-6k on the bazaar and thus dont need to hunt for &run all the way out to a player vendor to get them.

Once this gets coupled with the 150 player vendor item limit it wont be worth running a vendor for products under 6k (which will make starting a business very hard)

......and both of these changes rob value from an already under valued profession
