This is has probley been asked a thousand times but anyway, is it possible for a merchant to give rights of a vendor to another player so he can stock it him self and get the money off of it when someone buys the product?

Um, actually, some of us would love that ability.
I say that because from reading posts on the merchant forums for some time, it is my observation that the majority of the posters on this forum want all vendor transactions to go exclusively through members of the merchant profession. So while there may be some small minority of merchants that would wish for this extremely useful ability, collectively the merchant profession has spoken and they say NO.

Thanks alot for the info. I think this ability would help the merchant profession alot, you could rent out the vendor and charge a certain % of the credits made from a sale.Just my 2 crds.

A vendor is a Point of Sale.
I would really like to run a single Architect vendor and get three or four people "adminsitrator" access to it.
That means they offer their stock to it, at their price.
I then rubber stamp it by "approve" or "decline" and it goes on sale.
None of me split down crates of 500 stim-s or wound packs that sort of thing.
The higher levels of merchant should allow more comprehensive options from "it put it on sale, money is mine" to "they offer it and I have preset the %" even "they offer it a a preset % and I still have to approve it".
The whole idea of making buying and selling fun is missing because one person gets lumbered with it. A well stocked vendor or vendors most likely has more than one crafter supplying it, or that is a dedicated crafter stocking their own vendor.

That would be nice alright!
