Thread: Vendor Question (yeh another one)

It's looking like I may need to temporarily drop merchant (0-0-0-2 currently) in order to complete another profession, after which I'll pick it back up again.
If I drop it, I know I get to keep my vendors, but what I want to know is, when I get back to business 3, do I get xp from all 4 vendors that I have, or only the for the maxium number of vendors I'm allowed to have? (I assume that latter, but it never hurts to ask those who know). I take it that they wont gain me any merchant xp while I dont have the skill either.
Are these valid assumptions?
