Hi all i was wondering i currently have 4 vendors up if i surrender merchant will my vendors still be up???

Yes, but that is a situation that many merchants in this forum hope to see changed soon.

i want to keep it longer but i just want to know because i wanted to put a merchant tent up and ont want it disapearing if i surrender it. im only going to have the tent other that will keep mercant will put theres in there

Then you might not want to count on being able to do that without the Merchant skills. It is expect that eventually you will need to actually have merchant to have the Merchant perks and abilities. Having a tent and vendors will eventually be Merchant only and you might find some day you log on and your vendors do not work and you have to empty them, and thatthe maintenance on your tent goes to 100x the usual to cause you to redeed it.
So, you either lose the stuff now or later. it's your choice. But eventually, you will lose it without Merchant skills.

As a master Merchant, Armorsmith & Artisan, it leaves me very little skill points left to do anything else.
I dropped some artisan skills at one point, to free up skill points and then realised only a master artisan can make some of the components needed for PSG's...so I had to get it back again.
I am now wondering if I shouldn't just forfeit some of these abilities to be able to do more combat based skills. I am looking at Merchant, I don't really think I benefitted in anyway becoming a master did I?
I'm thinking of going merchant 3/0/4/2. This would mean I could have 4(although the guide that told me this, might be out of date) vendors, all listed on the planatary map and in uniform. It would then free up 22 Skill points Can anyone see any problems with my plan?

Answer to the first question is - YES.
What will happend and what happen - no body knows, and if you claim that you do than you're smoking something illegal.
And even if changes come - it will not be "one day you wake up and ..." That only if you sleep trough the Patch notes, repeated warning and some grace period after the chance... If (MMORPG) history teaches us anything - it's that Grandfather Law - rulez!!! Your Vendors will just be another 'pre-nerf" item - the PRE NERF Vendors!

I personally hope every EXPLOITER of the system that tries to keep vendors without keeping the skills loses everything they have for their obvious and underhanded abuse.

And I hope that everyone that keeps the skills, because they don't want to EXPLOIT, realize what suckers they are one day...

nope, its no bug, it was a stealth nerf. hehe. A friend paid 10 million for a crate thathe can't use now.
I'm not sure it was intended for those weapons. My guessd is the fix was for something else and those just got caught in the crossfire. But I don't know for sure no one has said. I know they were looking to remove some weapons that were created or modified with certain exploits. One of which involvs krayt tissue.
