Can we request that the NEXT ITEMS button in vendor be made more visible or larger?
Many people don't even know they existed.

Id suggest it glows or flashes IF theres a second page. But, sadly, this would require thought on behalf of SWG's coders, and theyd most likely break something else with the already completely rats-arse atrocity that is Player Vendors.

Please, for the love of God, dont ask for a damn thing new until they fix that which is old.

/sigh

quite true. One guy in TC was saying how he have been
playing for almost six months, but only found out that
there's a NEXT ITEMS button 2 weeks ago. LOL.

Good idea. Flashing shouldn't be difficult, the email button on the toolbar already does that.

adk....no offense, but how often do you actually LEAVE your house in RL? Your talking about the same people that can't read simple signs in REAL places of business. They can't read "25 items or LESS" in grocery stores no matter how many or how big the signage. They can't read menus in restaurants. They can't read "No Checks." in ANY store. Making the sign bigger doesn't make a lot of people less stupid.

I agree JTG. Why should the devs implement anything to compensate for a player's ignorance or inability to read? Anyone that actually reads the vendor menu would see a button that says "next items". That's about as bad as players getting upset because they got "scammed" by paying a 50k access fee cuz they didn't bother to read the pop-up screen.

Attention to detail. It'll do you good later in life.

Here is a true store that happened in a grocery store between a lady and my friend:

Lady: "Excuse me sir, do you work here?"

Friend(dressed in jeans and tshirt, NOT in a store uniform and looking at her likes she's nuts then grinning): "Yes I do."

Lady(asking about apple juice with a BIG sign over it that says .99): "Do you know how much this apple juice is?"

Friend(looking at sign): "Yeah it's 99 cents. But you know, there's a trick. If you look at the sign upside down, then it only costs 66 cents."

Lady: "Really? That's very helpful of you. Thanks for your help!"

About now my friend is giggling as the lady goes to the checkout...

Cashier: "That'll be 1.03."

Lady: "1.03? But the stockboy said that if I looked at the sign upside down that it would only cost me 66 cents."

I really wonder about the stupidity of people sometimes.....

I gotta agree with you too. You can make the butotn blink, have giant arrows pointing to it, or have it pop off the screen and slap the person across the face and they still won't see the damn button!

Odd, don't you think. People can put colored text on signs outside of their houses, find ways to use more than their 10 building lots, cross-server trade holocrons, and make millions of credits... but the same people can't find the friggin Next Items button on the vendor window. Kinda sad, huh?

They just need to show you which page you are on (like the page count at the bottom of this forum). When players see that they will go "Oh hey look, there are more pages...where's the next button?!" Then they might actually look around for the next button.

Also place next/prev at the TOP and bottom of the page so that wherever you look its obvious.

Just follow the forums, people know how to use forums, if it looks like a forum they'll be able to use it.

It's because of the same people that it takes 3 minutes to redeed a building now, keep it in mind... Sigh.

Puck, it's not even about taking the time to implement things for stupid people. I'm sayin' you COULD and it wouldn't help a lick. And as for your story, man, I hear that! I've worked in every customer service field imaginable, nearly and I got a TON of those stories.

Maybe all they need to do is put it in the loading screen tips. I know a lot of people that don't realise they can have personal lights or autorun and simple stuff like that until they see it in those loading screen tips. I think I'll go suggest this on the IL Weekly roundtable discussion.
