1st Merchants really only have 1 skill viable (maybe 2) for all the point we invest... vendors. Every other skill is fairly pointless and does not better service our customers (with the exception of maybe the Planetary map for newer vendors) If webark sales with vendor droids oras a personwe anger the server population for spamming and get put on ignore. The reduced fees are meaningless and the different vendor types and clothing are purely foo-foo.
That said, the current proposal is absurd. It is like telling:
a Master Smuggler they can only slice 110 items a day,
a Master Rifleman they can only shoot their rifle 110 times a day,
a Master crafter they can only craft 110 times a day,
You get the point.
Vendors and HIGH limits are the only reason to be a merchant. Low limits, price caps, etc only discourage us from participating in the economy side aspects of this game. If our only viable skill is reduced to a meaningless level there is NO reason to contiune investing and already absurd amount of SP.
The end result... Trade forums will become 100 times worse, withhundreds or thousandsofauctions everyday. Players will move all thier stock from vendors into houses so as not to lose the items, thus creating massive lag everywhere. Players will not be able find items they normal would have found with ease.
We cannot be expected to continue to play and have the only skill in the proffesion destroyed or rendered pointless.
