If these caps are coming in and no vendors for people with no Artisan/merchant skill, Hows about lifting the price limit on the bazar terminals to 25-50k?

The economy is going to slow right down if they dont.

there should be no price cap on auctions on the bazzar instead impose an imperial gst tax applied to all sales thus hindering the sale of expensive items.

I'm not happy about 24 itmes limit but it's liveable... if the price cap was removed I'd need to use less bazzar spaces.

That's not a bad solution. If the bazaar item cap were removed, and the max price raised to 2 million credits or so, I wouldn't mind them obliterating merchant as planned.

Skip the limits (items/price)from the bazaar ....

and overload the database

You search a polysteel copper and must check 25.000 items to find it .... nice vision ...

I don't buy the overloaded database crap. There are a million ways they could reduce the server load without removing the merchant profession (or making it unplayable with this nerf). Or they could spend the $100 and buy a new hard drive.

And a better ui (with a bazaar search or something) would solve the 'I can't find polysteel' problem. It's better than searching through 4023 vendors all over the galaxy with the same result (can't find polysteel).

Sure, they could fix the problem without hurting merchants, but that would be out of character. I may be missing the point of most of the proposals and changes in the game over the last year but if memory serves me right, I used to play a high-population galaxy. Now I don't evensee any with a medium population anymore. I would think that buy now they would realize that they need to stop implementing changes that drive players away and concentrate on player retention. Unless, of course, they want to be unemployed or have their resume show that they worked on the team that made an incredibly popular mmorpg into a ghost town.
