When I dropped below Master Merchant, I chose to drop the Hiring Line. My vendors are higher (ie. Ithorian etc) than I could normally hire. Will I be unable to run these vendors?

As long as you have efficiency or management lines and are under your max number of vendors you will be able to manage your vendors.

Hiring lets you control who you hire, management (and soon to be Efficiency) controls how many vendors you can maintain.
