If i pick up Efficiency 4, place a vendor tent, add vendors then drop efficiency 4 will i still keep my tent and vendors with no problems?

You'll be able to keep the tent but if you don't have the skills for the number of vendors or number of items on sale, you're going to have a problem very soon. First by not being able to put anything more on sale or back on sale from the storeroom and then, at one point, the vendor or vendors will go poof.

Im not droping Merchant all together, Just wanted to go from 0434 to 3x44 and not lose my vendor tents i have up

As long as you remain below your vendor/item limits, your vendors will be unaffected.
If you exceed your limits, you will be unable to place more items up for sale.
At this time you will not lose your tent.
That may be changed in the future.
Do so at your own risk.
