I am wondering how you get xp for merchant. I am planning on being one, but I don't know how you get Merchant xp. Any answers would be appreciated.

A vendor will get you around 150 xp an hour, 50 xp per person that visits it (per hour), and I think 50 for something else as well.

I seen alot of post..but i still dont understand how exactly does merchant get XP

1. From entry 50 xp per person cant be the same

2. From adding 1 vendor in..and get 50 xp per vendor every half an hour

3. no other way to get xp beside this...refleshing or viewing or selling doesnt help

now..my question do u get more xp for the vendor.as maintence rate go up ? is there any other way to get xp i see the bug where hourly xp is bugged and not able to move on...how does this happen ?

I have the same questions.

Will creating more vendors increase my XP rate?

Do I get XP for people browsing my vendors?

Do I get XP when people buy from my vendors?

Do I get XP for premiumbazaar sales?

You get xp from:

--50 xp every time someone pays your entrance fee.

--50 xp every time someone browses yourvendor. (Sales don't count extra.)

The above two are limited so you can only get a small amount of experience per person per day, so you can't have your buddy double click your vendor 2000 times

--150 xp per vendor per hour. Sometimes this decides to stop working though.

Those are the only ways to get merchant experience. Bazaar sales don't help, nor do any of the other merchant skills.

And this is the reason you see very few master merchants. It really can't be powergamed. I'm close to Master (should have it by the end of the week) and I've busted my butt to get people in my shop and buying things. The only person on my server I know of who is ahead of me, lives on Naboo (with the extra small houses) and owns 7 buildings, each one of which has an entrance fee. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do!

I'm excited about becoming a merchant. My only problem is that I can't seem to get business xp to go up, and when it does, it's 4xp at a time!! I'm going out of my mind. I'm not sure exactly what to do, and I've looked on stratics, ala's, swgcragfts and here. ANY ideas would be appreciated. Thank!

Your online/offline status does not matter.

i used to get xp when i was offline before patch 04 now i only got xp when im online

Im getting that same problem, so if the offline xp is true I've been cheated out of over 20k xp

I should be master right now...but I'm not. I need to drop hiring, advertising, and some vendors, but I want to hit master first. Time to log in and use my afk macro for merchant XP (sit,stand,sit,stand in room with vendors.)

Well i tried searching the boards for any usefull merchant guides and i found draznars. All good except i need to know if the vendor xp you gain hourly obtained only when your online or can u get it offline also?

You have to be more than logged on, you have to stay in your house so that the game doesn't unload the vendors. I was online for 4 hours not getting experience. I walked into my house loaded my vendors and poof! got 900 experience.

So im paying $15 a month to play beta?
