My understanding is that it WILL work.. but of course you lose the armor forever if you do it.

I have a vendor wearing ST armor in my house as a greeter. And yes, you will lose the armor forever. SO make sur eyou are happy with the vendor location and position. I believe clothing on vendors follows the same rules as wearing in game for players. So, to wear a full set of ST armor, I suggest your vendor be human male to make it look right.

What I would do is first get some use out of your armor until it's broken and "display only" quality and then slap it on your vendor. I'm sorry but you'd have to be a total doof to waste good unused armor on a vendor.

I wore it for a few months when I used to PvP. So since it's still in good condition, I guess I'm a total doof. I am however collecting a second set

It says I can add weapons and clothing, but what about armor? I have a full suit of stormtrooper armor and was wondering if I could dress up my vendor in it. Anyone try that before?
Thanks

GV-III, looking alert, holds forward his left palm, his E-11 carbine brandished in his right hand, and says, "Halt! By the official authority of Prefect Talmont, you are hereby ordered to holster all weapons for the duration of your visit and obey all Imperial laws for this sector. I'll be keeping my eye on you, citizen.".
John Q. Newbie, frightened beyond belief, says, "Eeep...".
