For me it would have to be the time a random player walks into my shop. Buys a speeder (it was 30k i remember) then says "Ha! now im gonna sell this for alot more money on the bazare!" i tell him that he cant cause theres a 20k cap on the bazaar terminals. he then asks how to get a vendor. i tell him. he gets frustrated and tries to resell the speeder to me for 50k. i say no. he then threatens to burn my shop down.

I only give them the boot after they start calling me a greedy, self absorbed 34 year old loser living in his parent's basement. Maybe I'm just too nice.

Their credits (eventually) spend just as well as anyone else's. To be honest, I've never bothered banning anyone from my shop. I figure if they're that P.O.ed at me, they'll never come back anyway. If they repent, I didn't want to have to bother re-configuring the ban list to let them back in. I never had to deal with anyone so outraged by my vendor offerings to keep returning solely to harass me or my other customers.

I can just imagine someone with a flamethrower trying to do that and then complaining about it to the CSRs.

The only people I ban are order stealers, scammers, and guild leaders/mayors that malicious destroy guilds and cities.

uh... you let them back in?
usually people end up on my ban list because they refuse to show intelligence, are too annoying, or if they've "unreasonably" resold my items. you know how many stories I have for people in the first two categories

I don't ban resellers. Since most of my products have my name on them, it just expands my name all over the dang place. I don't ban annoying people. I ignore them.

That's my theory.

Anybody that dares to be abusive to me gets reported so I'd much rather rely on the bigger ban stick.
And yeah, most anybody that's really unhappy with my offerings never comes back anyway so it's not really an issue.
As for resellers, I encourage it.
If you can make a profit after paying my prices, more power to you.
I refuse to set myself up to be a wholesale supplier, but if I can fill a demand that some other merchant is experiencing, I certainly won't prevent them from paying me the price I expect to receive for my merchandise.

don't worry, I both ignore *and* ban them, and my ignore list is so long that I lag when I access it O.o it's just much more amusing watching them freak out in front of my shop, try to cuss me out (uh yeah, that'll let you back in), threaten to buy more items because they still have the UI open, threaten to tell their whole guild, etc.
my items are priced relatively low on my vendors for the benefits of both my customers and myself (too lazy to change my prices,) and if they can't give me the respect I deserve as a merchant and a fellow player they can purchase the items I put up on the bazaar for 150%-250% of the original price.

That's what I need... more people to threaten to buy more items and then tell their guild to buy more items too!

ooh, this reminds me...
this afternoon I logged on and found a bunch of my sith resources sold. I was in the process of repricing them from 50k to 20k now that I'm done with the quest and definitely want to sell these... and I noticed that this guy bought a bunch of 50k ostrine ores and 1 20k ostrine ore. I got curious, looked on my vendor... and saw a whole bunch of ostrine ores still in my vendor for 20k.
oh well, more money for meeeeeee
