I know people are writing on the issue of missing items on vendors, but my problem is slightly different.

I had 200k akasa polymer that I offered to a friends vendor. He told me he was moving houses, so I withdrew the offer, but didn't pick up the polymer and he picked up the vendor.

No more polymer.

He placed another vendor down thinking the polymer would reappear. It didn't. My question is it gone forever or does this fall under the vendor eating items thing?

You lose all items on a vendor if you remove it. There's a warning pop-up window to prevent accidental deletion...you didn't see it?

It wasn't my vendor, so I couldn't have seen it. Ah well, 1mil down the drain I guess....
