I am currently working my way to Master Merchant (2/2/3/4) and had a couple of questions regarding the vendors. I wish toplace a vendorfor the specific purpose of people offering me resources and or items for me to buy.

1. If someoneoffers me an item on my vendor, how long does it remain there for before the offer is taken back automatically (supposing they do nothing)?

2. If the person changes their mind, can they simply go back to the vendor and retrieve the item? Do I need to reject the offer before they can retrieve it?

3. If the person does not retrieve the item, and I do not want to buy it, how long will it remain there until it vanishes (and by vanishes I mean by design and not due to bugs )

4. This offer and acceptance via a private vendor - does it cost either me or the customer anything if the sale does not go ahead?

5. Is it safe to offer items to a vendor via a backpack? Likewise, is it safe now to sell items on a vendor in a backpack?

And as a side note, the xp over time for Merchants seems to be working for me now. Of course, i did go out and buy another copy of the game just so I could leave an alt toon dancing around my vendors all day and night. I had to leave him dancing because people were clicking on him thinking he was a vendor.....

1) I believe its 7 days but I could be wrong.

2) They can go back and withdraw the sale themselves.

3) I believe in 7 days it gets rejected from your offers list. Then it gets dumped into their Available Items list and sits there for... 7 or 30 days, can't remember which exactly but it works exactly as how the bazaars work.
