I have been logged on for 4 hours now (near as dammit) of which 2 of those hours i have sat faithfully next to my vendors HOWEVER as of yet no exp increase :/

have they finally nerfed you guys into extinction now??

PS i just remade a vendor and will wait 1 more hour before logging in disgust and browsing the FFXI sites (need some little tips for when it arrives next week )

Is the maintenance paid up on the vendors and are they properly initialized? That is the only other reason I can think of for them to not give you XP unless you have 80,000 xp .. that is the cap of what you can have at one time.

i am 20900 xp from mastering merchant....the merchants are all paid up and running fine :/

and i was getting exp right up until the latest hot'fix'

I can't log in to check, but maybe the just turned off the ability to get xp because of the 30min and your master exploit. It would proably be easier to switch it off for now until the fix the exploit.

bah that would suck i have had merchant sucking up points for a month now ><

and it is a bit late to start worrying about a simple exp exploit when people have been duping creds/kryat tissues and everything for the last 6 months ><

oh and it is NOT my exploit, i have not and never would use an exploit

I am new at the vendor stuff. I placed a vendor and I am getting exp for time the vendor is up, but no exp for purchases, and the entry fee for the house seems to be broken, it used to work, but it appears not to work now (set it at 1 credit and people could just walk in).

So it (for me) appears the only way to get merchant exp is via the time the vendor exists in the world.

Doubt it... I managed to go from 4/4/3/3 to Master this morning, and that means I earned something like 70,000 Merchant XP over the last week or so.

Seems that way to me. The other day I got a ton, then the next day I got 0 even while logged on working beside my vendors the whole time. Tried remaking them, checkedeverything, still no xp. I have been watching very closely so I can level up in management 2.

This might be a stupid question, but did anyone use your vendor while you were sitting around? From my understanding I get 50xp per visit on any of my vendors and I've been gaining 12.5k xp in the last two days. I haven't logged in today and see the results of the new patch.
