I am not a merchant but i need an awnser to a few questions so please help me out. Lets say i want to make my pa have vendors that are for deceration only. So i give the clothes to a merchant in the guild. I know once the clothes are put on the vendor they can not be taken off but i dont want to waste them. So the merchant makes a vendor and he puts the clothes on it. Now lets say he wants to drop merchant. Does he lose the vendor? If so is there any way he can give the vendors to someone else so the vendor will still be in the pa? Thanks for your help.

No, infact, he'll keep any customizations you make to him including speach, the clothes, and MAYBE the planetary advertisement. Not sure about the ad, but the other 2 I know for sure from experiance.

As an advocate against vendor poaching, which this does qualify as, I must let you know that, although you say you don't plan on

using it as a vending device, SOE stillconciders it asa bug exploit. If there was a permenant swtich that would turn off vending entirely, and make vendors glorified decorations, I say go for it. SOE may say otherwise, but it would seem really benign to me.

Unfortunately, there is no permenant switch to shut vending off, and therefore I must protest this action because who's to say that you won't use the vendor as a vending device in the future. If you did, you would be exploiting a bug that has ruined this profession.
