Thread: Admin control over vendor
Hi guys
Im nearly master Architect and also taking merchant as a side bonus. Im curious. I have made a partnership with another player that produces bio Pets.
Is it possibel for me to give him admin right to one of my vendors. So instead of me having to add his items and then give him money for them when they are sold all this is done automaticly or does he need to get artisan?

ok if you cant share admin on a vendor...then how does the admin function on a vendor work exactly? (ive never tried this so i have no idea)
lol i couldve sworn i say an admin option on my vendors...lol but i just went to double check it...im not sure what i was looking at but your right there isnt an admin option...

There was a Vendor list on house structures for a while before they changed it so that all admins could create a vendor.

That was fixed very very quickly once the devs learned it was happening. I don't believe it was ever intended to work that way.
The only reason people were doing it at the time was that the admin permissions were busted and it was the only way you could put up a vendor in a structure you didn't own.

this must be where i saw it...i thought i had seen it somewhere before, but i had no need of it so i never bothered to check if it was still there, i just assumed there was still an option like it.
Not that an admin option on the vendors would be a bad idea, especially if you dont want to have to bother placing other peoples wares on your vendors. But i doubt we see anything like it anytime soon.
