Merchant Archive

So, I just got my merchant tent and wanted to play around with it. I placed it down and then put a vendor inside. I was going to have this vendor for special order pick ups. I enabled Ad Barking to say something about special orders and placed 3k into the vendor and gave it a Grand Healers Robe to wear. I went into my shop and did some things and went back to the merchant tent 10 minutes later because I rememered I did not initilize the vendor. I got there and she was gone! The tent is no more then 50m from my shop. The tent is still there but the little lady took my money, clothes, and ran away.

Anyone had this happen or know why?

This is probably just an instance of the old disappearing vendor bug. Should be back in hours/days....weeks. You never know

I hear you, I changed the clothes on my vendor and placed new items on her for sale. About an hour later I find her with her old clothes on and my items are gone, empty POOF!!! **edit**!!!! This is more frustrating than prepatch! Plus I have items in my house that I can't pick up...keeps giving me "cannot see item" error!!!!! when its right there! Oh my head hurts....

Whatever you do, DON'T destroy your tent, after a vendor disappears...you will lose your vendor slot ! I made that mistake earlier today. I thought the vendor had truly disappeared, I destoyed the structure and then re-deeded...Now I can only have 5 out of the 6 vendors I'm supposed to get as Master Merchant...grrr

Try moving the items you cannot see to a different spot. Often items stacked on top of each other hide themselves so you can't pick them up. But you can move them off the stack and then pick them up.

I had this happen to me in a tent too. The items were still listed on the REgion view but the vendor was missing along with my 5 vehicles I had just crafted..I don't know where he was but he showed back up in a few hours and got back to work.

I don't ask them questions anymore..the union is just too powerful.
