I guess it takes damage (I know because I have forgotten to add maintentance to new vendors) but what happens when condition reach 0%? Disappaer of what?
I think I have seen before that the vendor does not disappear or any other bad things.

Easy way to test this. Put up an empty vendor and put 1 credit maintenance in it to ensure it at least _had_ maintenace that it could run out of. Then sit back and wait
My thought is it should poof like a house.

They don't currently poof. They are supposed to stop selling things and stop allowing you to put things up for sale.

Interesting Doc, You say they are supposed to stop selling. That mean they still work with no maintainance?
Not that it matters much, they are cheap to run .

As you might have figured out by now certain fixes are not retroactive and rely on the age of the item in question as to whether they operate under one set of rules or another.

Just found this out the hard way. Was out of the game for a while, and came back with most of my vendors having 0-2% condition left. Unfortunately, while I can pay maintainance, the maintainance isn't going into fixing the damage on the vendor. So I have something like a 0% vendor (15k credits to repair) with 60k in maintainance on it, ready to run for 4 months. bleh.

It will correct itself in a bit. It takes a while for it to upate the condition. The good thing is that you can take the excess money out if you need to later.

This happened to me recently, I got some error message like "vendor is not able to operate/disabled because of low maintainence" or something like that. I plopped in some money and it was working fine an hour later.
