Thread: The hunt for the missing vendor

This is a bit of a cross-post for me... but I thought perhaps my fellow merchants might be able to give me some sound advice here.
OK, long story so bear with me:
I was briefly a member of a PA several weeks back. The PA ended abruptly when it burst into two or three factions, and one of those factions basically picked up the PA hall and abandoned-city. When they did that, I had a vendor inside the PA hall, so I lost that vendor.
However, as a merchant, that vendor has been counting towards my vendor-limit ever since!
In fact, this morning I received several "auction unsuccessful" emails from items that are / were still on that vendor!
That suggested to me that the PA hall is still somewhere being used. The items listed their location as the "Grendin Waste". I went to Lok and basically drove around until a /who command showed I was in the general area.
By looking at the number of cities and banking terminals, it seems to me that there are only two cities in the area. I just searched one of them and didn't find the PA hall. I'm doubting it's in the others. It's more likely, I think, that the people involved put their guild hall in a somewhat out-of-the-way place, either on the edge of one of these cities or perhaps outside of them completely. Not sure.
However, I'd really like to find this PA hall. I may not have access anymore, but I've got to try. I just want to take everything off of that vendor and destroy it. I'm not concerned about the stuff... or about revenge... I just want to "free up" that vendor!
So, that all said, is it possible for me to do a /find or otherwise use some sort of in-game functions or commands to find a PA hall ?
I thought that might help me out a bit.
Any other recommendations anyone else might have ?
Too bad I can't remotely "give up" a vendor!

try setting a house and vendor near where the old pa hall was, see if you can retrieve and view items in the way the short range "in this area" works.

If the hall was redeeded then your vendor was destroyed in the redeeding process. What you are getting is "ghost" messages from stock that no longer exists. To fix your vendor count you need to send in a CSR Ticket and ask them to reset it.

Yes. If the structure was redeeded the vendor and the items will be gone forever. The emails you are getting are because deleting a vendor in this manor creates all sorts of loose ends that aren't cleaned up. You still have a vendor count that suggests the vendor exists. The vendor database obviously thinks it still exists. But as far as I now there is no way to "re-constitute" the vendor once it is deleted like that. A CSR can reset your count so you reclaim the vendor slot. But I doubt they will be able to do anything about the items.

A support ticket and a CSR helped clear up the problem! Didn't get the items back, but I got the vendor.
