ok i've been gone for a week, and now im hearing about this Vendor Nerf. does someone have a link so i can read the details and possibly make a stand against it. or just summerizeing will do to, thx.

Just go to the merchant forum. There is plenty about it there. The devs haven't posted anything. It was just added to Test Center.

Basically in short, they are putting a cap on the number of items you can place on the vendor. And they are taking the looping out of macros. Sure, that's great for the afk dancers, but what about the CoB macros?

I agree that the Merchant needs to be a important profession to consider but the numbers are still too low. 660 Total? Pathetic. A busy Chef, Tailor, any crafter will stock 1k items +. More like times the number by 6.

not being a crafter:

I sorta like the vendor nerf. I think it should have a really good bonus at master Like say unlimited. This would make Merchants what they should be some one who buys in bulk from a crafter, and then sells to the general public. Yes all crafters should have their own vendor to sell their goods. As in real life few big factories sell thir goods directly to the public, they sell to companies that sell to the public. Just like a highly skilled crafter should not have all the skills needed to get their raw materials. If the ingame ecom matches the real world, shouldn't the bussiness model?

Things i would like to see:

At mastery of any crafting prof. you should get some free lots for factories (allowing more mass production)

At survey 4 you should get a few free lots for harvs ( i would spend the skill points to have a few more harvs to place for crafters i help supply)
