I realize this has probably been covered, but.. ..how will vendors determine backpacks, satchels, and/or Cargo Pockets after the changes go through? Will they be counted as one item or one item "plus" the total of the contents.
For example, if a backpack contains 9 pieces of composite armor, will that go against your total vendor limit as one item, or ten (9 pieces of armor plus the pack itself)?
Is there an official word from the developers on this?

I aksed the same question in the latstest TH-merchant post, but didn't get an answer.
For whatever it's worth : on testcenter it counts as one item. Which means that with artisan 0030 you can store 5000 items : 100 bags with 50 things in each of them.

That is the way it works.. I expect that to be changed but I don't know any details about how and when.

With the old limits of 110 I thought it was really important that I could sell composite as one item.
But if the new limits are 4k at master merchant and an aggregate limit at that....that's 400 total suits of composite armor even if things in backpacks count as individual items.
I hope you are right that this will be changed, DocSavag, because I don't think there is anymore a real need given the higher limits for things in packs to count as just one thing. Except for the folks who are using vendors as storage. But I thought the devs were opposed to storage vendors.
