So I want to put a description for everything I sell but that's a lot of typing. Is there a copy/paste for the vendors and bazaar? I tried using the chat copy / chat paste but is just doesn't work.

Is there a solution for this? I want to describe what my droids can do and how to use it with each driod I sell but am getting carpel from typing so much.

Chat Copy/Paste *does* work, but you have to map the keys - I set mine to CTRL-SHIFT-C and CTRL-SHIFT-V, so as not to interfere with the character sheet and map hotkeys.

It's still kinda limited, and I'd still like to have an in-game 'notepad' application of some sort. My system is a little awkward shifting between normal windows stuff and SWG, and there are other irritants too. For example, you can't Copy text from a "non-typable" window (such as the description box of something that's already up for sale.)

Oh, but I did map the keys... it didn't work for me. Is there a trick to it? All I did was map the keys, highlight the text from my current description, hit my copy keys, put the item up for sale and went to the next item, but when I tried to paste it, it didn't work. What am I doing wrong?

Ah. I think the trick might be "from my current description." You can only copy from SWG windows into which you can actually type. If you're copying from an already-existing item, the copy won't "take." What you can do is, e.g., type a description for Item 1. Before saving it, Copy the text you just typed. Then save, then on the next item, paste.

What I do myself is copy normally from an outside-SWG application like Notepad, then paste.

That's what I am doing, it's not working for me. Maybe I was just bugged last night, I'll check again when I get home. Thanks for giving me hope.
