Hi Lowca, weren't you in beta?

Anyway, I've had this problem too, I'm Business IV trained, my friend is Merchant Hiring IV. He hired a really cool vendor and gave it to me to place, but I can't manipulate it, even to get rid of it, and he's down a vendor. The CSR response has been, we cannot Replace or Remove any items in Houses or Inventories, we are working on this problem for a change in the future. Our solution has been to try and get me to Hiring IV as quickly as possible.

I had the same problem. Anyoneknow how toplace a vendor in a structure that you do not own (but have proper permissions set)?

Archamedes, to address your friend's problem of being "down a vendor", I found that you can simply return the vendor to him, then he can destroy it.

i've had the same problem,Archamedies... the only way my friend could get rid of my non-deletable vendor was to offer it up for sale on his own vendor and let me buy it back for 1 credit... once i had it back it could be destroyed

Right now, because of the structure admin bug, you cannot pick up or drop any furniture or vendors in anyone else's house, even if you have admin privileges to it. NPC Vendors cannot be dropped by other people, however, Vendor Droids can be.

Also, as posted above, the solution to get rid of the vendors stuck in the inventory is to sell them to another vendor.

OK, I have a company with a couple of my freinds and I'm gonna be the merchant. We own a house. It's actually owned by another player, but I have Admin right and such. Now, I know I cant drop items, but she can. I had a big boxy vendor fora while, but I want to place a NPC Vendor. I gave it to my friend to place, and she can't drop it, even though it's her place. She can't delete it, or trade it. She's got two NPC vendors now sitting in her invetory and can't do anything about it.

Has anyone else has this problem? I could use soem help

Thanks for the info guys. I know I can't drop them. And giving thing to my friend didn't work. But at least I know way to get them back. I don't thing she has Business III yet, but my other friend has a vendor also, so I might just get her to sell them to him, and then have him sell them to me, so at least I can place one if I build my own house.

I just wish they would allow Admins to place stuff. That's why they are Admins! Gah. It makes it very difficult for people trying to create a multi-person company without placing tons of houses.
