I have been seeing a lot of thread where folks are moving loads of items out to their vendors so they can either upgrade or move (I hate the thougt of upgrading due to this).

Why are we doing this?

Aren't all the vendors linked? I have 3 vendors all in different stores sharing listed items. As far as I can tell you can buy items from any of them and they and then take them from any of the stockrooms. right?

So if this is true the simple solution to moving is to just make sure you have another vendor in place before you kill of the old one right?

Why are we spending hours having to empty the darn things?

The problem seems to be that when you do the sort of thing you describe, the items still exist, but are permanently un-retrievable by anybody - you, or buyers. I don't think it's *intended* to work that way, but apparently it does. (Or at least, everybody *thinks* it does, and isn't willing to risk hundreds of items on the chance that it doesn't.)

Bugs and more bugs. As soon as it is fixed you are correct we should not have to move anything out. But I learned the hard way and now have 10 Electronic GP Modules "stuck" in my warehouse and they are counting against my bazaar sale totals. Errrrrr . . . .

Yep, I reported that as a bug late in beta 3 and it is still around. Even with the Vendors both up and functional I can't retrieve from a different vendor than the one I am accessing which makes no sense if the items are going to show up there and allow me to click the retrieve button and not give me an error.

They only connect like that if they are in the same region. My shops were around 1100 meters apart. The inventories were not shared. So thankfully I am a Chef and can afford to lose 69 items into Vendor limbo.

I believe only you can see them though, the customer just sees what is on that vendor. As to seeing all the items on your vendors at the same time, that is because you are looking at the region screen. Try clicking the vendor control button and see if they still show up. That is what the customer will see. If you remove a vendor, intentionally or accidently, those items still show up at the regional level but are unretrievable by anyone and the csrs cant delete them either. You might get lucky and get reimbursed for them, but at the moment that is it.
