Thread: Vendor permissions list now gone from house menu.
Anyone else noticing this?
Where is the supposed fix to placing in others' houses?

Typical "fix" for us. We complained too much about vendor and admin permissions not working. So they fixed it. We also wanted the in-town NPC advertisement barkers taken care of. They got "fixed" by changing the skill description.
Sorry... I just re-read that and I realize that it's negative and cynical. But man, that's just how I feel. Merchant has been nothing but pain for players since beta, and because we're not a high profile profession like the combat types, or the people who directly supply them with their weapons and armor, the level of attention to this profession remains "zero".
Did you notice the three fixes we got in this patch message?

If that's true, that totally changes everything.
If it's gone forever, major major major nerf to all sellers of any kind.
If it's being moved into merchant only, a big big plus for the class, but only when they get around to adding it in.
hehe! Don't be so quick to complain! I have Admin access to our PA Hall (not the owner) and now I can place a vendor there when I couldn't before.
hehe, Stealth love.
I'll take it anyway I can get it.
Placing vendors in others homes? Woot!

Vendor access should be brought back. Admin access is just too powerful.

You ever think that maybe they removed the vendor access list on building controls because that was part of the problem? They problem killed the coding and went back to an old idea as a quick fix because there is too much work to be done in the game. There aren't an infinite number of coders on the dev team guys. Give em' a break. I think it rocks that I can finally place vendors in all my friends' houses. You KNOW how buggy this game was when Sony ordered it's release and you KNOW how buggy it still is. THere was ALOT of work put into this last patch. I think the dev team deserves a big pat on the back for putting up with all your whining and getting this stuff done.
I think a very few of us have a beef with the devs about how long its taking to get things fixed. What we are upset about is that we don't even know they know what teh bugs are.
How much time owuld it take for them just to post a message saying, Yup, we've got those issue's, we understand what you mean, and we will be looknig at them as soon as we can".
That would go along way to quelling the unrest as at least we would know that they have recieved our issues. As it stand's Marquie could have sent all the weekly lists to an invalid e-mail address and we wouldn't know any different....
Just one bit of feedback (Even the response we were promised is late !!!) would go along way to calming eeryone down.
