I know I've read that we can drop clothing on vendors to have them wear it, but mine gets offended when I try to hand her clothes. What's the trick?

You need that to give them clothing ... less than that skill level and they will not take clothes.

Nope, sure don't. Had no idea there was a skill pre-req for clothing. Thanks, I'll stop offending the help with offers of clothing until I've got the pre-req.

is she pre- or post- patch? Pre-'s won't accept, post-'s haven't had any trouble that I've seen.

I have another problem concerning merchant clothing, I do have hiring 4. After my staff has expressed gratitude at my generosity of providing a uniform she promptly steals it from me!! The clothes simply dissapear, now she is post patch..in fact all of my 5 venders are. I'll be damned if I have to retrieve 900+ peices of clothing to remake these useless beings!

Some races will not wear clothing you offer them. One of my employees, Tryl, refuses to wear anything I give him. I believe he's Ithorian.

I usually hire fellow Zabraki. Not only are we good looking, but all humanoid clothing fits well too

I did hire a Weequay (sp?) the other day. Grumpy fellow, but he also accepts clothes.
