Thread: What happens if I surrendor my Merchant skill?

Right now I have Hiring 4 and Management 4. I have 6 vendors placed. What happens if I surrendor all of my merchant skills but keep at least artisan business 3?
Do I lose these vendors? Or can I keep the ones that are placed?

No one knows ... question has been asked a billion times but no one has the courage to leave the vendors up with items on them and hit the surrender skill buttons 
Most of us suspect that with the buggy nature of the merchant line, the system will "probably" leave the vendors there and you can still access them. You just wouldnt be able to create more vendors.
Needless to say this REALLY pisses off the serious merchants as it seems like a cheap ^%$#%$ way of getting vendors without deserving it. This may also be why most merchants hate to answer questions like this. So if you ask too much about it here ... expect serious flames your way!

Course everyone is crap shooting atm since no one who has done it has reported. More than likely everything will run smoothly until they change the code a bit and you are forced to replace all your vendors then you'll get the big screw.
