I don't want to be a Merchant, but I'd like to be able to sell items using a vendor. Is there any way to get funds transferred directly to my account using a vendor created by another player? Can I buy a vendor, or do I have to transfer items to a Merchant and rely onthat Merchant to earn money and pass it along to me?

Also, if vendors are able to be sold, what's the typical going rate?

Thanks in advance for the input!

Vendors cannot be transferred or sold.

What you'll need is an arrangement with a Merchant who is interested in selling your goods for you. Once this is established, you can take your goods and offer them to his vendor at your agreed upon price. He can then choose to purchase the goods (you get paid here), then sell the goods he just purchased from the vendor at a new rate that will let him profit from the transaction.

Alternatively, you could find yourself a house, reach Business III in the Artisan tree, and run the operation yourself.
