Thread: Are terminals less buggy than NPCs?

I've been having a ton of problems with the NPC vendor that became available when I reached Novice Merchant... after a few hours, they just stop working. Nobody (including myself) can get the sale window to come up on them.

However, my other vendor (the "Standard Terminal") still seems to be doing fine after about 8-10 hours, while the NPC vendor breaks down after 1-2.

Has anyone been finding that the terminal vendors are just less buggy than the others? Cause on one hand, I want a reliable working vendor so people can come to my shop and actually buy things, but on the other I don't want to remove my NPC vendor and lose even more items to stockroom limbo...

I've had an npc vendor for about 5 days now and have had no problems with it yet.

The only bugs that I experience with my NPC's that I didn't with my electronic box are things like ad barking that aren't available. The function of the sales interface seems to be the same. I must say that I have remarkably few problems. It is slow to retrieve sometimes and you have to stop it and restart to retrieve but other than that they have been fairly solid and they get quite a workout most days (I wish we had a way to view recent activity on them)

The Ad Barking is just borked. It works sometimes, usually it doesn't. The customize option doesn't work for me, I never get prompted to put in my text..has anyone gotten this to work??

Add to the fact that they can be attacked, incapped and wounded.. Maybe I do like the box better!
