Merchant Archive

Has anyone else had this problem? Recently, my merchant exp seems to have frozen solid at 8200 points. Many hours have gone by, and nothing has changed. I currently have 3 vendors sitting around in my little private small house: a robo-bartender, a normal terminal, and a wookiee. Previously, they all sat around, did nothing, and netted me a constant trickle of exp. Enough to get novice merchant, management 1, and those 8200 points, anyways. They don't really sell anything since I just use them for storage for my friends and myself. Any info on this would be great.

Have you left the planet?

I may be wrong, but I seem to have noticed I stopped gaining Merchant XP while I was on Naboo (my vendor is on Corellia). But, when I came back to Corellia, the next time I checked I had gained a good deal of merchant xp.

It works strange. I won't gain anything for several hours, then in ten minutes I'll gain a few thousand......

I've been having this problem too. I didn't gain any "base" merchant experience for over 24 hours. The only xp that was trickling in was what I got from sales and from the access fee on my house. I finally emptied my vendors, deleted them, replaced them, and restocked, and the xp level is back to normal now.

When i leave the planet xp stops for me as well.. but if i log out off planet i get xp when i log back in game. So dont know what it is about being off planet and online.

I had my Merchant exp stop for a little over2 hours. The missing exp rushed in after the server synched up with me. My shop had disappeared and when it finally respawned on top of me, my merchant exp was at the number it should be.
