Little background to underrstand the sistuation:

I recently dropped Master Artisan to pick up some other skills, but now I need to pick it back up temporarily to make some Highly experimented items and do not want to trust that to another Master Artisan...

My question to other Merchants:

I havemy current allotment of vendors used with my current skill level. Can I drop a Management skill level or two for a day or two and not lose vendors that I already have out?

Oh, and since signs is under Management, I guess I should know whether my signs will revert to old style until I pick it back up. Any help is greatly appreciated... ^_^

The unofficial word is that the vendors will stay.

I did hear second hand that you cannot pay maintenance on them though. But since maintenance is bugged at 1 credit a day for NPCs, that may not be an issue but if you are using the machines, it could be.

One other caveat ... since it is theoretically possible that the devs will correct this ability at any time, be aware that in one of the daily patches, your vendor could go poof with no warning.
