Thread: Timebased XP?
I was wondering where days of XP were left off, so I wrote a CSR ticket.
I got reply now from CSRNathanT or something, and he tells me there's no timebased merchant XP (anymore?). What's up with that? Is it gone now, or does he just not know the gameplay mechanics of vendors?
If you ask three different CSRs how a game mechanic is supposed to work, you will get three totally different answers every time.
AFAIK (haven't been paying attention since I'm not going to be getting any more merchant skills), time-based exp is still earned based on the number of vendors you have out.
Sir, it's quite possible that this game is not entirely stable.

I thought it was still time based until i had 2 vendors our yesterday ( both initialized with items on then and maintenance(sp) more then paid up) and got absolutely 0 xp
Everyone I asked stated that people actually have to use your vendor for you to get xp from it.
