if u look at teh efficiency box it says the cost of placing ur vendor on the global map is cut in half. my question is why would they devote a whole skill box to that if u are "supposed" to only have to place ur vendor on the global map once and not everyday. i could be wrong but just though i'd like to hear other opinions.

If not, how come when you log in you have to first unregister your vendor before you can reregister?

Aye ... and if it was working as intended ... I would imagine the Devs would have said something by now to shut us up from complaining about it.

As near as I can tell, your question seems to be based on the assumption that the advertising charges you once when you register. Hence why have a skillbox to reduce that price if you stay registered forever. But that isn't how it works. It raises the maintence of the vendor rather than charging a set fee, so in essence, charges continously all the time you're registered. The longer you're registered, the more you'll pay. The registering/unregistering bit doesn't effect the price.

Part of the bug in it currently is it continues to charge the increased maintence cost the next day, even though you aren't on the map.

Of course, it's easy not to know that, as for NPCs it currently makes no difference. But if you register a terminal or a droid, you can see the maintainence rising.
