Serously why did they give you this job if you arent going to do anything? All this time all you seem to do is make a thread every once in awile ignoreing drect questions from people and not geting any changes for it I think it is time for a new corspondent here

The developers are the ones that institute changes, not the correspondant. If you look on this page you will see several threads discussing our issues started by our correspondant. Quit trying to shoot the messager...

What are you wanting me to do, fly to CA and beat people up?

Well how about not dissappearing for a week without any word to anyone here? Or how about giveing us status reports on things from test. Or even how about responding to simple questions that have been asked that got zero responce when they were drected at you last week. Heck I just want a liveing corspondent who will fight for us.

I was not gonea week, I was gone for 4 days. Some classes have not had a correspondant in 2 months. If you want a status on things in test, you should start a test character. I pay for, and play this game, same as you, and I play it on your server as a matter of fact. I have things to do, I am not obligated to go and test this class for you. My game time is limited, so I play on my server for the most part.

As for the responces to your questions, Just because you ask it, dose not obligate me to respond to it. Sometimes my Lack of responce is in fact addressing your question very clearly.

And as for your last comment seeking a "liveing" correspondant who will fight for you, Fight for you how? What kind of power do you think I have? Do you think that I have a hotline to the developers? Do you think we all get together at a bar after work?

I post and post on the correspondant board, and as most other correspondants, get little responce, and the responce I do get I am not allowed to share with you.

I think with a post count of 844 to your say 89 (Nearly 10:1), I think I am doing quite well being here.

I think she is one of the better correspondants this game has, it looks like merchants are on the back burner to the developers right now, they are focusing on other classes. It looks like they can only do one thing at a time.

Your time as merchent Corspodent is soon to be over we are tired of your lack of infomation!

Sorry, but she does not work for you. She does this on her free time, just as we all do.

She is a liaison, that is all.And if she has to take a vacation for 4 days.... Oh, that's right! ...we merchants can't take RL vacations, we have to babysit our vendors...

I can assure you - Marqie is doing her job.

She is one of the primary posters in the Correspondent forum, much more than many of us. Unfortunately, there are a lot of issues with many of the other professions, and merchants aren't getting the attention that they deserve.

This isn't her fault - it's the Developers priorities. So please, don't take it out on her.

All of us correspondents have a difficult job - we have to do our best to present your ideas and wishes to the Devs and act professionally, despite the fact that we are players just like you, and we all want our favorite jobs to be fixed immediately. So please - don't take the fact that there haven't been many changes to Merchants to be her fault.

We have been promised that all of the professions that haven't been addressed with major changes - like Merchants, Squad Leaders, Droid Engineers, etc. - will be getting some attention soon. So just hang on and be patient. I know you have been and that its frustrating, but blaming people for things that are out of their control doesn't help everything.

Marqie needs your support. I hope she has it. My alternate character, Wilsc, is a Merchant, so I'm not ignorant to the problems here. And she has my support.

I think seeing other correspondents coming out in support of Marqie shows that she has a great deal of respect from their circle and we should feel lucky that she lobbies for us.

Marqie is doing a lot of work for you guys. She is arguing your cases to the developers, and doing a good job.

The problem is that she is not getting anything concrete from the developers to give you. She is getting a lot of maybes and what ifs and wouldn't it be cool...but nothing deffinite. And she is not allowed to post any of that here because she promised the developers she wouldn't, and the developers don't want her to post because if something falls through, many of you all would get disappointed and mad.

So poor Maqie is stuck between a rock and a hard place. She is fighting for you guys and doing her best (and probably better than most could) to represent you all, but she is limited by what she can tell you.
