Thread: A note from a nobody to Marqie.
Marqie,
I felt the need to respond to a previous post regarding your advocacy for all of the Merchants that come to this forum for advice, information and a sense of the state of the profession.
I am a Master Tailor and have taken to Merchant to add to my fun. This will be my first post to this board, yet I am a bit active on the other. Anyone who is a Tailor knows that our correspondent, Vandessa, does play on the test server. That is her choice and we are very lucky for that. With that being said.... I am just as thrilled to have you here on the Merchant boards!!
The Tailor and Merchant forums are the only two where I see an actual fight for the players who are desperate for help, with current state of the game. I am not going to go into which profession is harder at this time, being that any profession that is bugged is a beast to the player who is dedicating their time to become good at it.
The point (long time coming, I apologize) that I am trying to make is this. In comparison of one correspondent that plays on TC to another that plays on Live, I see no difference in this case what so ever. I feel that I am as informed about each profession and it is the CORRESPONDENT that makes that happen.
When I read that you were thinking of leaving, I was sick....and I had only been lurking and collecting information from here for about a week or so. That has to say something about the calibur of dedication you give to your community.
This is just an opinion of someone, most if not all of you do not know. It may not amount to a hill of beans to some of you, but to me, it means a great deal.
There are TONS of profession boards that are so sorely lacking for any type of dedication, information or reaction.
I say **cheers** to Marqie for staying to take care of us (even us new kids) after all that you have endured!! We lost a correspondent on the Tailor forums once, and such as it is, we ended up better for it with Vandessa. I do not think the Merchant profession would be so lucky if you were no longer here, Marqie.
Thank you for all that you do!! Tons of us see it and understand what an enormous pressure and frustration it must be, not being allowed to relate all that you know. For those that think you'd be better off with someone else, I invite you to browse a few other forums. You may just have a change of heart.
The only thanks a Correspondent gets is support from their forum.
Cudos to Marqie for setting a mark to achieve within the Correspondent forum, even if you are prevented from letting it show here.

Hey now, there are a lot of correspondents that are trying their best for their professions. I think almost all of us are trying our best for our profession.
Which is not to take anything way from Marqie.
I'm going to take a moment to **blush** profusely here as well.
*blush* ![]()
But with the other moment, I'd like to extend the cheers to the other correspondants who wave their sabers and muskets in the background doing everything they can to make their profession the best that it can be. Like Marqie and I, they all do their very best in there!
**cheer!** ![]()
I agree.
Though I am not sure I should, since I am not a coorespondent. ![]()
By the way. I'll try and cover both Eclipse and Test Center (hey we are Live also).
