Thread: Female NPC vendors
Why is it that none of the non-player race female vendors work properly? Female Aqualishes give the message "Failed to create vendor. Your inventory may be full.", and female Biths cannot wear female-only clothing. In fact, as I recall, none of the clothing items I dropped on her worked.
Are there any other female NPC vendors at Master? I only have hiring IV, and don't know what new vendors are available at master merchant.
Also, does everyone else have the problem that four of the NPC raceshave incredibly tall heights(devaronian, ishi tib, nikto, weequay)?

The NPC races which aren't also PC do have some clothing issues. Devaronians look silly in gloves, as an example. Normal Devaraonians don't have gloves in their random clothing generator, so it isn't an issue. Few of the NPC races even have a female option, and it's likely the game doesn't really see them as female. Again because it doesn't usually need to. By being able to dress these races that usually are so restricted, it's really pushing those models to their limits. They weren't really designed to be treated like player characters, or made to wear every piece of clothing a player could.
My way round this was to mainly go for the races which are also player character. These are designed properly for the clothing. I have a female transdoshan and twi'lek, and both work perfectly for clothing. As do my males of PC races. If you want your vendors to show the clothing to it's best, the PC races are the best.
My Devaronian is the only non-PC one I have. And he's also my smallest vendor. Before him, I had one that was average height. It's a random thing. I got several tiny ones in a row when I placed my current one. He was the biggest of them. I'm sure if I'd kept going, I'd have gotten a tall one too. My transdoshan on the other hand is really tall. And I've seen some people with tiny versions of the usually massive Ithorians. The only advice is to just keep re-rolling them till you get what you need.
