Yeah yeah, this title will probably get my post deleted. Big whoop.
This 110 item limit is NOT the answer to your database woes - it's the last nail in the coffin for many many players. Have you ever even played a dedicated crafter in this game? You don't stock an item here and there, you stock FACTORY RUNS, 200-500 of the same item, so you don't have to deal with that particular item again for a few weeks. I'm a Chef - I've got customers clamoring for Brandy, Canape, Vercupti, Veghash, Thakatillo, Breath of Heaven, and Bivoli -- how the **** is anyone supposed to keep up with demand for that many different products, if you suddenly limit us to only keeping in stock a tiny fraction of our overall production?
Oh, fine, I guess I *could* log in every single evening to restock my vendor, but is it the intention of SOE to make this game feel like even MORE work than it already is? Seriously, if I wanted a second job, I'd go find one I could actually get paid for.
Stop ruining what little fun remains in the Merchant professions. Get a clue and fix the problem without creating another.
