I mean.. I could be blind but I can find the changes on the"Test Center"forum or dev tracker.. And, why haven't we heard from the devs on this?.. They put this stuff on TC and leave for the weekend.. In the meantime we all are frustrated over the proposed changes without word from them. I don't remember any of these proposed changes being discussedon the "InConcept" forum... Common guys, these proposed changes will affect many people in a bad way. To me, this is like throwing the combat balance changes on TC without posting it on TC forum or any other forum.. This just rubs me the wrong way......

Because they knew that the Correspondents, especially Doc, would take all the heat.

LOL.. I'm imagining the devs telling themselves.. "hey, lets put the changes in and run out the door"....lol
Its very simple.. They didn't want to deal with any arguments before they headed out for the weekend, that's it. They'll have an excuse on Monday, and it will be a simple one too. It will be like "These are in testing for a reason, the changes are not final"... But, at the office it will be like "holly sh'crap, didn't think they'd hate it that much"...
Dev's, I only have one thing to say.. This is not just a game. Many people have invested allot of time with their characters and take all this very personal.. When you make drastic changes withoutthe courtesy ofannouncing them, people may take it as an insult. I totally agree with Colaboy. You made really big changes without announcing them. Sure, you posted them on the TC launchpad, but to most that isn't enough.

hehe. You are right, I do take this game personally. I'm one of those people that have invested well over a year in it and I do feel insulted.

Ah gotcha. It was an attempted stealth-nerf I think. Look at the order in which the changes were mate (paraphrased):
JEDI JEDI JEDI
WOOT JEDI
Bazaar/Vendor
-Empty vendors no longer appear on planetary map (YAY)
-Empty vendors deleted (YAY)
-Email notification (YAY)
-Fixed vanishing-item bug (YAY)
-Vendor item limits will now be based on player skill (YA.. er.. wait..)
blah
blah
Master Merchant - 110 items per vendor

The patch notes were posted on the test center forum but got pulled off when the player community started to comment. The fact they have taking them off shows they are reconsidering it but it would be nice to have something from the devs along the lines of 'we are reworking it, wait and see' rather than leaving us in the dark with only bad news.

Also, the correspondents knew about them too and have been fighting to increase them.
This change was plannedso the "in testing" excuse doesn't cut it.
Any developer with half a brain would have seen this as a "hot button" issue for the community and prefaced the patch notes with "These numbers are temporary and will be adjusted significantly upward before going live. Don't panic!"
Lately, I've begun to think they operate somewhere around 27%
