So people. What do you think? will the developers read this, take the very clear message and listen to us?
Normally I dont like to break any rules.. But im very very frustrated and angry about this change. And like many many others in here I feel helpless and ignored by developers as a player.
Why so angry? Because this is not just a small change that I disagree in. Devs cant make all happy. And as they say sometimes players just dont know whats best for the game. But this case is serious. This is a case where Devs dont know whats best for the game. This will kill economy. It will ruin game as we now know it. It scares the **** out of me to see many of the big guildleaders on may of the servers and many of the well known merchants say that they will leave the game.. We are not allowd to say that in here.. but this time people means it.
We are the customers. We are the ones who plays this game every day. The ones who spend real life time and money and have done so for months.
For gods sake devs. Why not spend your time fixing many of the countless bugs instead that haunt this game?
Or will they do like it seem that they do most of the time. Sit around a table in their office. Having meetings. Making decisions based on figures and numbers. Letting their communist minded board moderators kill all posts that are against their decisions?
For gods sake. I love this game. But now it will suffer. I know a lot of people that will leave. Some of my favourite shops near Naboo and Coronet will dissapear. The guild Im a member of will loos a lot of its crafters.. Im seriously fed up this time.
And Im shocked how they treat their customers. But I must warn them. No one really need SWG.. but they need us. Keep that in mind as there are more and more mmorp comming to the scene.
I would hate to see this really good game go in the grave just because of bad customer service and developers that have lost contact with their player base.

Yes, they will. Too much money involved, if you ask me.
But then again, noone asks me :-)

I'm starting to have major doubts of whether they will. I really want them to...maybe I'm just worried and being a pessimist.

Yes their deletion of the petition thread shows just how much they are listening.

Lol, I was just about to say that. They're a bunch of Nazi's. I hate to say this but I would be completely shocked if the do listen. /sigh

Perhaps the thread was too taxing on their database...

Will they listen?
A very good question. It seems like they love to drop these bombs right before the weekend, so that way there is a few days for everyone to wear themselves out, then ignore us. This is exactly what happened with the so-called vet reward. They totally ignored the veterans who felt slighted by their marketting sleight of hand, didn't respond, and just let people tire of complaining about it.
Of course, my cynical side sees another strategy. They drop the nerf news, let everyone get worked up over the weekend, then increase the proposed caps slightly to appear to compromise. If they had started out saying a total of 1000 items between all your vendors, there would have still been a number of upset merchants, but now they can offer that amount and appear to be responding to the players.
Just a thought.

one thing i learned is that SOE listens when accounts get cancelled over an issue. had a bunch of extractors disappear and the csr's refused to return them to me so i cancelled my accounts (all three). day before the subscription expired on my main account a csr contacts me and gives em back to me. i'm not suggestion people cancel their accounts just commenting on what action actually gets the devs to listen.
i'll be cancelling my accounts if the cap of 110 goes live and i won't be comin back. the first 2nd chance i gave SOE (mentioned above) was also their last one from me.

I know a lot of crafters in the game were like, "why is everyone so worked up about the whole combat balance thing." Seems the Devs didn't want to leave any stone unturned so they can get as many account cancellations as possible.
