Thread: Problem with Ship category for vendor: Anyone advertised in the ship category sucessfully?

Anyone?
I've put chassis up for sale, registered the vendor in ship and it doesn't show up on the planetary map (even after server downtime).

Did you go to the shop to load the vendor up in the world? After server reset, the vendors have to be loaded up by someone or yourself visiting them. If you've done that .. then I dunno. I'm not selling ships .. but I thought I'd try to help this way

My understanding is that it is bugged but I haven't tried it in the last couple of days.

Vendor registered under SHIP category is not appearing on maps.
I registered a vendor on the planetary map "Glug Ship Chassis" near coronet (-444 -5710) on Wanderhome.
I selectedit using the SHIP category - which is a new option - but the vendor (which is loaded, initializedand got the "vendor functioning OK" e-mail) DOES NOT show up on the overhead map or the planetary map (there is ho SHIP sub-category listed under Vendor on the Planetary map index).
The vendor works normally in all other respects, as far as I can tell, and I am a master merchant too.

I've run into the same thing, and the issue is the lack of a Ships category for vendors on the overhead.
Hope they get it fixed soon.

I too register my vendor under the Ships category and Could not find the category on the Planetary map under vendors so I reregistered it under Tools and it shows. i submitted a bug a day since i got JTL

This is still a problem. My alt who is a SW registered a chassis vendor under Ships but there is still no ship category on the planetary map. I ended up unregistering it and then put it under Components which is where most SW seem to putting their stuff on Bloodfin.

This is still a bug as of today's server reset. 
Guess the ship vendors go back to the component category...

Still bugged. I take it the components category seems to be the most popular place until this gets fixed?

It is still bugged. No ETA yet on a fix for it.

grrr..
Please put more pressure to fix it... this will make life so much simpler
