Well, I just took Novice Merchant two days ago and so far, I've been stuck at 1850 XP. I've got three Vendors setup and have had them up for quit some time. Friends go in and browse the items, pay the access fee and yet, my Merchant XP isn't increasing. I've tried shuttling to another planet, logging off and back on and nothing seems to work.
Does anyone here have any suggestions?

I just dropped a new vendor and experienced the same issue. Bunch of sales, and not a single point of XP...

I just gained Novice Merchant and have earned over 10k merchant xp surprisingly quickly. I have 3 vendors set up
but I DONT have a fee to enter my store.
Perhaps there is some issue with novice merchants and fees and vendors dunno... maybe you should try that.
End the fee.
Empty your vendors.. reset your vendors and hope you start gaining xp.

This has happened to me, but shortly after I click on the the vendorsand bring up the screen, my merchant xp is updated. Try doing that.
