Thread: Idea Merchants renting out vendors

Dont know if this have been brought up before.
I think it be an awesome idea for merchants to be able to rent out vendors.
Basically its pretty simple.
Merchants get a portion of the sales in that vendor. % would increase at various levels of merchant capping at 20%
plus the renter would have to pay to keep the vendor running smoothly
and possible a weekly fee
20% is a pretty big portion out of sales but this would gate the amount of people running vendors. Only succesfully business would be able to do this.
If they capped the amount of vendors you could rent merchants would have full administrative rights to the vendor in case someone isnt selling enough and taking up space.
Probly a few flaws in it, but it save people skill points, and gives you guys some income with out having to master a crafting professtion.

Nice idea I like it but 20% might be a bit much dunno.
My alt BH would LOVE to be able to run a Vendor even at 20% loss of sales and a weekly fee.

I think it'd be a great idea to implement this, top banana. It's partially what I'm going to be doing with my Merchant. Allowing guild members to use them. But to actually have the ingame mechanic's of it would be a great idea I think. Wouldn't take much to do I don't think. Would be just like putting someone on the admin list for a factory or house, with a few extra things thrown in.
