all buildings counting as half depending on merchant level.
start with small houses then med thenlarge then guild size
or add 1-2 lots per teir

Everyone wants this.... but sadly I do not think the Devs can give us more lots. If they do increase lots, our monthly payment for this game would probably increase also.

No offense, but why?
Every player has 10 lots. The game is set up so that you have mutual dependancies. The intent is that you would have dedicated merchants, craftsmen, resource gatherers.
PAs help out with this...but it requires a level of cooperation and planing. After combat proffs dont need all of thier lots, and usually have a couple to spare. A wise person would contact those people and have them utilize their lots for production/mining/shops etc.
This also requires that you have a level of trust (Which every PA should have).
More lots are un-necessary, better organization for utilizing the available lots is critical.
