Thread: Error: You are already managing.... maximum number of vendors

I have Novice Merchant which gives me the Vendors +3 Skill Mod. I have 2 vendors placed in my shop. I try to create a third vendor but I get the following error message:
"You are already managing your maximum number of vendors. Fire someone or remove a terminal first!"
This happened after I placed a third vendor two days ago but it failed to register as initialized, even after I initialized it. So I removed the buggy vendor and now I cannot place another one.
Please help!

Did you initialize the other two? Sometimes if you don't initialize them, you get that comment

im master merchant now (not tryed to place maximum venders yet) but when i was 4/3/4/4 i think its 9 venders able to be placed. Well i was getting the error after only placing 6 venders.

I believe you mat recieve this message when you are at your Item Sell Limit as well.
It would what I would check {and be sure to add in offers to people and what's on bazaar}

No I'm definitely not at my item sell limit. I'm selling like 8 items.
I'll check tomorrow whether the other two vendors are initialized but they were last I checked.

Do you know if you have had any buildings with vendors in them destroyed? That couldmessup your vendor count.

Nope, I've never placed a vendor anywhere except in my shop. 
I submitted a ticket today via email (since for some awful reason I can't do it in-game), so hopefully a CSR will get back to me in my lifetime. This is really frustrating.

So it seems my issue has been resolved! Huzzah!
I'd like to think that my email to customer service was the reason but so far I've not even received so much as an automated response from them.
It's more likely that it self corrected due to some internal check or some such mystery. But whatever the reason I successfully placed a third vendor.
Many thanks to all that posted suggestions and tips. They were some comfort in a void.
