It's number 9 in your known bugs thread.
This happens to me almost ever other day. If it happened just once I probably wouldn't have cared very much. Does anyone have any idea as to what might be causing this? It's inconvenient to say the least to have it happen as frequently as it is happening to me, and my brother. All of the vendors in the house do it mine and his.
* I can drop a new vendor and still see all of the items that are on the MIA vendors, but get an error when I try to retrieve any items from the MIA vendors.
* They've done it before my eyes on two occasions.
* Two days ago I recieved a tell from a customer who was shopping asking me if I paid maint on my vendors because they all disappeared before his eyes.
* The day before phase three ended they also disappeared because I happened to have ALL of my force sensitive resources on the vendor (where else am I supposed to put 1400 of them?). I flipped out then because I thought I wouldn't get to finish my quest, (they reappeared a few hours later).
* Last night I had an auction on the forums and I went to take the item off of my vendor for the winner, but of course there were no vendors in the house when I went to retreive it. So I had to make her wait.
Anyway... all of this is adding up to discrediting me as a merchant and a businesswoman. The CSR told me to submit a bug report.
So I want to find out why this is happening. If this is happening to anyone else, would you mind posting things like number of items you have in storage. or for sale on the vendors.
My brother doesn't have any items in his store room. I have like 644 FS resources is the storeroom, 19 crates of weapons waiting for the others to sell out to be sliced, and a pack full of geonosian cubes. Among my vendors, I have 101 weapons for sale at the moment, 31 crates od grenades, and for a friend I'm selling 13 of his crystals. the items for sale are divided among 3 vendors. but the stuff is storage is all on one vendor. At the moment, the lowest vendor in maint is at 73k with 204 days left. In the house total there are 5 vendors (3 are mine two are my brothers), and when they vanish all 5 of them go. I'm 2000 merchant ATM, master dancer / master weaponsmith.
If you understand the problem, and know what I can do to keep my vendors for disappearing on almost a daily basis, could you let me know.... cause CS wasn't much help. Submitting a bug report has never seemed to solve any of my problems. (neither has a customer service ticket for that matter).
Anyway I don't play this game to stress myself, but that's all that this has done for me. Thanks for your help.

I feel for ya. I just had one vendor disappear, but now the game registers me as still having it, so I'm not able to create another one in it's place. This is soooo frustrating.

my vendors are still disappearing daily... It's worse now, I'm worried about the lack of a restart. Since that's what the CSR told me. that it was a problem that "fixed itself on restart." That coupled with the "market unavailable error" I get when a few hours after I put down a new vendor. That was also a problem that "fixes itself on restart" My vendors are almost totally non-functional now. *sigh* I think I'm going to have to give up crafting, if I can't sell anything... afterall, it's my only means of income as it's my only account. Thanks I suppose.

What server are you on? I know it sounds silly, but that could very well make a difference. I started play on Radiant and mastered artisan/architect but due to either my vendors disappearing, stock disappearing, or vendors suddenly becoming non-usable within minutes of setting them and paying maintenence, I gave away all my items and money and moved to a new server. I have yet to have any problems since my move. It sucks to start over from scratch, but the lessons learned the first time make the grind back to your current status much easier.
And while I have had a few positive customer service encounters, during this time the CSR basically told me I was SOL and I got pretty irate. They closed and deleted my ticket for me, as well as the subsequent two that followed. I highly suggest you not take the tack I did, as you may get similar results. Good luck with it. If you decide to start over and choose Corbantis, I will help out how I can. I also have a character on Ahazi that I really haven't done anything with, I can help you out a little there too if you move there.

I'm on flurry, but I don't hear of anyone else having nearly as many problems as I seem to be having.

The most common reason for vendors vanishing like that seems to be server boundries. Moving to a different location even if only a few meters away might help. Other than that I can't think of anythign else to try.
